I'm beyond excited to share that I'll be embarking on a gap year adventure with the World Race! In just a few short months, I'll be traveling to Albania, Italy, and Guatemala, immersing myself in different cultures, challenging my own perspectives, and serving others in meaningful ways. As I prepare to take this leap of faith, I'm reminded of Matthew 28:19, which says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." I feel a sense of calling to step into the unknown, trusting that God will guide me every step of the way.

Through this journey, I hope to develop a deeper understanding of the complexities of poverty and injustice, and to discover ways in which I can contribute to positive change. I am eager to engage with local communities, support initiatives that promote education, healthcare, and economic development, and learn from the resilience and determination of the people I meet. As Proverbs 19:17 says, "He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given." I am excited to see how God will use me to bring hope and light to those I meet.

This gap year experience is not just about serving others; it's also about personal growth and self-discovery. I am excited to step out of my comfort zone, challenge my own assumptions, and develop new skills and perspectives. Through my experiences, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of myself and my place in the world. As Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I am trusting in God's power and provision to sustain me every step of the way.
