Hello there! I am so stoked to be on this trip and so blessed to have this opportunity to serve the Lord overseas on this 9 month mission trip! I will first be traveling to Colombia with our squad of 43 people and then the next 3 countries we will travel to Vietnam, Philippines, and South Africa. We will serve through local churches and different ministries to bless others and to share the Love of God with all of those who don’t yet know him or those who don’t know how to have a relationship with the Lord. I was led to go on this trip because the Lord made it very clear to me that he wants me to serve him in this way and at first I really tried to get away from it. I was scared of going overseas and leaving my family for 9 months but once I realized I didn’t want to know what life was going to be like without following the Lord, I needed to be obedient. I love the Lord so much and want to share with people the good news and how much the Lord changed, and is still changing my life. I hope the joy of the Lord and his light can spread like wildfire in all the people we come into contact with over this trip and that everyone can see the Father’s heart for them as His children. That’s really the only reason I’m here today going on this trip, not to pass the time or to just have a fun adventure, but to actively seek the Lord and His will for the kingdom. I can’t wait for all the ways the Lord is going to work in my heart and all the other people overseas and on my squad.
