I am writing to inform you about my next steps and plans for the next few months of my life. During the first semester of my senior year of high school, I have been given the amazing opportunity to serve as a missionary for 3 months in Italy! I will be leaving August 1 and returning November 1. Throughout my time in Italy I will be taking online college classes in the morning, and ministering throughout the country in the evenings. These classes will be focused on leadership and learning how to lead others to the Lord as well as leading others within my group. I will be partnering with many different churches and ministries to help achieve our common goal of sharing the love of Jesus Christ! Throughout the trip I will be traveling throughout many cities and towns in Southern Italy including Rome, Follonica, Bologna, Florence, Sorrento, and many more! As a senior in high school, I do not have the rest of my life planned out, I don’t even know what is next after this trip; but I know that God calls us to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19), and to that I say. “Here I am, send me” (Isaiah 6:8). I am super excited for this opportunity to serve overseas and help others grow in their relationship with the Lord, as well as deepen my faith at the same time! After serving for 2 weeks in Tijuana, Mexico in February, I truly believe that God is putting this calling on my life. The calling to go, serve, and spread the love, hope, joy, and peace that Jesus Christ provides. This trip will give me the opportunity to experience life in another culture, and see how the Lord moves across the globe. To go, I will need to raise $6,000 which will cover 3 months of food, transportation, housing, etc. If you feel the tug to partner with me financially, you can donate through this website.
