Hey guys, I am Elizabeth (Bethy) Sinclair-Lee. I am 18 years old, and am currently taking a gap year before going to college fall of 2025 at Colorado Christian University for Youth Ministry. I have an amazing family of 6, with 3 brothers, and two supportive parents. I have had a heart for missions since 6th grade, and have wanted the chance to go on a longer term missions trip ever since my 3 week trip with AIM back in 2021. So when I found out that AIM did 3 month trips, and that the ministry I'd be doing on this trip would be children's, I quickly clicked yes and started filling out an application. Another reason I said yes was because we'd be sent to Africa. My grandma was a missionary in Africa for 17 years, so I know she'll be happy knowing that I get to go there for a few months. 
     I can't wait to see what God has in store for my team and I overseas, and how much we'll grow as a community and in our faith in God. I know this trip will have its challenges, but I know it'll be so fruitful for my walk with Christ. This trip will make me lay down things that I might take for granted, and have to put a pause on my life for the next few months- I need to leave home at home. :)
