Grow with God, serve with others, make a difference.

If you have a heart for empowering local believers through sustainable ministries by serving with strategic partners who have a vision to see God move in their region, this 11 month outreach opportunity is for you.

Caribbean: The Dominican Republic shares an island with Haiti, and after the earthquake in 2010, the country became a refuge for thousands of displaced people. Although known for its vast sugar plantations, the nation’s economy depends on tourism. Political corruption is a lasting issue, along with the expanding gap between wealthy and poor. Will you share the freedom life in Christ with people who need to know Him?

Guatemala: As a long-standing Adventures in Missions base, the staff in Guatemala places a focus on these three principles: serve, disciple, send. They seek to empower locals through community development by meeting physical needs with water filters and stove installation, creating discipleship opportunities, and ultimately, having the goal of sending Guatemalans to the nations.
In a country with a high rate of malnutrition, meeting physical needs remains an important part of the ministry. Join the base staff in their efforts to see locals empowered.

Romania: Remaining a consistent partner with Adventures in Missions, Hope Church, located in Romania, works to lead their communities to the hope of Christ by meeting spiritual needs through preaching the Gospel and by meeting physical needs. With a particular focus on church planting, you’ll serve alongside an established ministry with a large network of staff and churches in place to continue on with relationships.

In addition to a church planting focus, Hope Church places an emphasis on kids and youth ministry by engaging the younger generation with the Gospel. With influence in different parts of Europe, Hope Church continues to see the Gospel advanced.

Albania: This nation is still working to find its identity after communist rule. One effort to emerge that you'll notice is many colorful buildings. Race teams will help our partners spread the Gospel and plant churches in local communities through building relationships with locals. This month there will be a focus on reaching predominantly Muslim communities through English education. Teams will also get the opportunity to visit prisons and share the Gospel through teaching English as well. No matter where you are this month, you will get the opportunity to share your hope in Christ by joining people in their daily lives.

eSwatini: Known for its battle with the HIV/AIDS pandemic, 12 percent of Eswatini’s population is made up of orphaned children with a staggering 40 percent of the population living in poverty. Serve alongside our Adventures in Missions base staff as they live out the belief that the key to the nation’s future is its children by caring for their physical well-being through the fulfillment of basic needs like food, clean water, shelter, and in their education.

Adventures in Missions has made a long-term commitment in Eswatini. With our base celebrating 20+ years of ministry, we are thankful for what the Lord has done here and excited for what the future holds. The base in Eswatini has the vision to see a generation of children raised up to take leadership of their country, spread the Gospel to the world, and create an abundant and healthy future for their nation. Come alongside our Swazi staff as they reach their communities through feeding programs, agriculture projects, and leadership programs to raise the next generation of Swazi leaders.

South Africa: In light of some of the continued challenges leftover from South Africa’s history with apartheid and subsequent efforts to engage in healing and reconciliation, Impact Africa and Global Leadership Academy (GLA), two of our ministry partners, are reaching their communities through socially relevant outlets of ministry service. Their heart and vision is built around making a sustainable, long-term impact by equipping and mobilizing South Africans to reach fellow South Africans. Efforts multiply as these missionaries serve, educate, and rescue individuals while provoking them toward a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ.

There remains a high degree of diversity as people from many ethnic groups and nationalities live in the same communities. A distinct contrast exists between South Africa’s persona of being one of the most prosperous countries in Africa and the millions who live there in poverty. Join and serve alongside Impact Africa and GLA in their efforts.
