Hello Everyone!
My name is Becca Jackson and I have been living in Florida for two years now. I was raised in a Christian home but never fully grasped that this was something that was not only real to people but changed our eternal lives. God was always a checklist to me, it was something I did every week and never understood the abundance of love and grace that He has for His children. I didn't know what it meant to truly be a child of God, and so I eventually ran away from the faith. But the Lord struck my heart when I moved here two years ago and haven't been able to shake this life changing God that we have access to at all times. Throughout the first year of building my relationship with Jesus, I knew He wanted me all to Himself. But now, over this past year I have felt deep conviction to share all that Jesus has done for me, in hopes that others will be able to experience that too. I pray to plant seeds of hope and love during my time spent in Guatemala and be able to encourage the people there with the satisfaction they can have in Jesus. I know this is something the Lord is calling me to do and to step out in obedience and trust that I am a vessel for His doing. During my time there this summer, I will be serving the community through intentional time with them, working with at risk youth, teaching english, needed community service, and much more. Donating to this trip will help to grow the Kingdom of God and share the love of God from afar. I will be helping to meet physical needs of the community, disciple and raise up strong believers, and build up the next generation of Guatemalans. This will allow me to live in Guatemala from May 31st to July 29th. Any funds given will cover all living costs; food, shelter, medical insurance, and air fare. Please be praying and if this is something that you feel lead to support me in, any amount given is appreciated and going to be used for the glory of God.
