Hi friends! 

Welcome to my fundraising page! The summer before my junior year I was called by God to serve as a missionary. I didn’t really have any clue what this would look like. As I was talking with my youth leaders they suggested that taking a gap year to go on a mission trip would be something I would like. At first I thought that was crazy. I thought, “I am going to go college then I will do something.” Ever since I was a little girl, I romanticized going to college and having fun in the dorms and making new friends (mostly because that’s what my mom told me would happen). And that’s when it hit me, I was so invested in my own plan of going to college immediately after high school that I was missing God’s plan that was right in front of me. So I laid down my plan and answered my call to take a gap year.

I’m am so so so excited to share that I do know what being a missionary looks like practically in my life now! With the World Race, I will be traveling to 4 different countries to spread the Word. I’ll be going to Colombia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and South Africa for a total of 9 months.
