Hi, thank you so much for checking out my page in regards to the World Race! I’m super excited to be going on the World Race as I have the desire to go out into the World and learn more about God while being the hands and feet of Christ.
A little bit about my story and what inspired me to go on this World Race trip; back in October of 2023, I went on a Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic. While there, I had the opportunity to encounter God in a new and personal way in which I felt the tangible presence of God's love. After an experience like that, you're left with wanting more; more undivided and undistracted attention towards God, more of God's presence, more of being the hands and feet of Christ. It wasn’t until after a few different conversations with some of my team members, that I had learned about World Race which offers the opportunity to go on a mission trip for up to 3, 6, 9 and even 11 months!
The World Race exists to mobilize a generation of radical Christ followers, discipling and training them to establish the Kingdom of God here on Earth in the places where it may not be prevalent. While on the field, the World Race provides many different ministry opportunities ranging from Evangelizing to Teaching English to Children’s Camp (VBS) and many more.
I spent much time in prayer, along with surrounding myself with others who could also pray for me. And there I felt like I was being called to go on the 11 month trip which will be taking place in the following countries: Kenya, Uganda, Turkey, Georgia, Nepal and South Asia with an organization called Adventures in Missions. For me, this amazing adventure starts in September 2024!
Out of all the different mission trip opportunities that I could have gone with, I chose the World Race because I wanted to learn what it means to depend on God’s provision in a new way. Part of the vision with World Race is living off what you need rather than what you want, which is reinforced by “living out of a backpack”, thus relying on God’s provision as we go from place to place. In addition to this, I also wanted to be challenged and taken out of my comfort zone to see what it looks like to be a disciple of Christ. I know that in my life, there are certain areas that God is still working on me in such as my evangelism and boldness, and I cannot wait to see how both the training and the discipleship I will receive will equip me to share the gospel with those around the world. I am confident that the Lord is going to work in and through my team (of 21 other people) and myself. I am personally so excited for this opportunity to see how God teaches me more about what it means to live like Christ and to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to the places we will be going to.
To go on the World Race, I need to fundraise. I have full confidence and assurance in the Lord, knowing that as I walk in faith of where He is calling me, He will also provide everything I need. Through this trust, I am developing a team of partners who are willing to walk alongside me through this process. I would love to ask you to pray about joining my financial support team. In this, not only would you be partnering with me, but you would be partnering with the Father in the calling of bringing Kingdom to some of the most unreached places in the world. I need to raise $19,700 by February 15th, 2025, This in an incredible opportunity for me and I would be honored for you to partner alongside me.
