The Mission

As Guatemalans recognize their identity in Christ and begin to respond to the call to advance the Kingdom of God, we have the opportunity to disciple, lead and train them before they are sent and care for them once they go. 

As an Adventures in Missions base in Guatemala, our heartbeat is to send Latinos to the nations. One of the ways we're moving towards this is through the Hineni Immersion in Missions program. It's designed to take participants deeper into intimacy with God and to equip them to go out to the nations. The program consists of Biblical studies, cultural teachings, ministry experience, language studies, community building, skill training, and discipleship experience.

Hineni means "Yes, Lord." It is what Isaiah said to God when he heard the question "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" It is a "yes" before knowing the details of the call. It is a full surrender to whatever the cost of advancing the Kingdom of God may be. 

These are the ones we will send. The ones who carry a Hineni in their heart.
