I have wanted to go to this part of Asia for the last 24 years and God finally gave me the opportunity to go with Beauty for Ashes. This was one of the best missions trip I have ever been on. During our retreat I was co leading a table with Bethany and we had an older lady at our table not participating much and so we were a bit discouraged but we gave it to Jesus that he was still doing work even if we didn’t see it within her. Then when we were doing feetwashing this lady was balling before and while Bethany was washing her feet. I loved seeing what Jesus was doing in her life even if she didn’t participate much. Then seeing Bethany love on that lady. Just showing God’s love to that lady was beautiful.
