Having participated in jail ministry in the states, I didn't fear going into the prison in Columbia. I found it to be a nicer facility than I had in my mind. Personally, I was humbled of the inmate's contentment to being in prison and their openness of their stories. We prayed a lot to have favor with the guards and to be open to changes in our plans for God's different plans. Pray for the prison chaplain for strength and wisdom while working with the inmates. Pray for the continuing of the "retreat" sessions with the prison ministry workers. Pray for those who accepted Jesus for the first time to hunger to know more of Jesus. Pray for boldness for the believers inside the prison. Pray for revival to break out in the prison.
