Grow with God, serve others, and make a difference in the world.

If you have a heart for reaching the unreached and empowering local believers to make disciples by serving with strategic partners who have a vision to see God move in the less-churched regions of the world, this 11 month outreach opportunity is for you.

Kenya: From the Maasai bush to the slums of Kibera, Kenya’s story is as diverse as its people. The nation is home to 42 tribes, 69 languages, and 400,000 Somali refugees. Despite its developed economy, half of Kenya’s population lives under the poverty line. Many suffer from preventable health problems like malaria, diarrhea, malnutrition, and pneumonia. Due to rapid population growth, 73% of the population is under age 30. Kenya has the 8th highest HIV/AIDS rate in the world, and 27% of females have undergone female genital mutilation. Will you share God’s love in Kenya?

Uganda: Because of its location in the Nile River Basin, Uganda’s lush jungle, flowing rivers, and diverse wildlife have earned the country the nickname “the Pearl of Africa”. Much of Northern Uganda was hurt by the Lord’s Resistance Army, which heavily recruited child soldiers. Child labor is still prominent today, along with child prostitution. Refugees, both from Northern Uganda and Sudan, search for ways to buy food in a land without jobs. It’s also one of the poorest countries in the world. Will you share the love of Jesus in a land hungry for hope?

Rwanda: Still hurting from the horrific genocide of 1994, Rwanda searches for healing. Originally home to three tribes, the Twa (known as pygmies), Hutus, and the Tutsis, Rwanda’s history of ethnic tension is long. In 1994, over 800,000 Tutsis were killed and two million Rwandans were displaced. Barely two decades later, the memory is still too fresh. Many consider the traditional Rwandan god, Imana, to be synonymous with the Christian God. Will you join the Rwandan Church in sharing the hope and healing of the Living God with the hurting?

Vietnam: After nearly a century of French rule, Vietnam split into the communist (north) and non-communist (south) in the 1950s. Conflict between the two sides led to the Vietnam War. However, by 1975, Vietnam was restored as a completely communist country. Even with the economic reforms and restoration of diplomatic ties, human rights are limited in Vietnam—especially freedom of religion. Over 80% of Vietnamese don’t claim any religion, and about 8% are Buddhist. Vietnam’s story is one of searching and fighting for freedom.

Cambodia: From the charming city of Siem Reap to the wondrous temples of Angkor Wat, the Kingdom of Cambodia fascinates and inspires. As you ride a tuk-tuk down dusty village roads surrounded by flooded rice paddies, you might see houses built on stilts or crumbling Buddhist temples. Even after a devastating genocide wiped out a generation, the Cambodian people are moving forward with a hopeful outlook and a generous heart.

Thailand: This nation’s famously friendly inhabitants have earned Thailand its suitable nickname as the Land of Smiles. Though an alluring tourist destination, Thailand’s glimmering cities and sandy beaches are marred by the dark reputation of sex trafficking and sex tourism. Here you will have the opportunity to reveal the truth of Jesus to a deeply unreached country, whether you are prayer-walking through the red-light district, ministering to tourists, playing with street kids or teaching English to local Thai people.

Malaysia: Located in Southeast Asia, Malaysia has one of the most competitive economies in all of Asia. Known for the tallest twin towers in the world, the Petronas Towers, it is a rising power in our global economy. With a large number of immigrants from India, Thailand, China, and Burma, Malaysia is culturally rich, with heavy influences of Hinduism and Buddhism. However, this culturally diverse and rapidly developing nation is mostly Muslim. Will you share the love of Jesus in Malaysia?

Indonesia: Indonesia boasts in it's ranking as the most populous island nation in the world and is highly motivated as a nation to maintain unity amidst their great diversity. Can you guess how many islands there are in Indo? Ok.. I'll tell you! ROUGHLY 18,000. Wild, right!? Not only are there more islands in this nation than any other, Indonesia also has the worlds largest population of Muslim people. Much of our time here will be focused on building relationships and sharing the gospel. There is work to do and our partners are already working to prepare a place here for YOU to join them as they make disciples of this nation. The harvest is plentiful. What are you waiting for?

Peru: From the breathtaking Andes Mountains, to the vast coastal deserts, to the lush tropical rainforests of the Amazon Jungle, Peru is one of the most biodiverse countries on Earth. The birthplace of several proud, ancient civilizations, present- day Peru is also home to multiple indigenous groups who blend into a unique and beautiful culture. Many locals maintain ties to their cultural heritage and indigenous beliefs, but a strong movement of the local church is transforming this nation.

Ecuador: Ecuador is a small country in South America but it is big on culture, hospitality and adventure. Its active volcanoes and lush jungles as well as the Galapagos Islands attract thousands of tourists every year. Known for its relatively stable economy, it has recently become a large hub for refugees from Venezuela. God is doing amazing things in Ecuador as the local church is being strengthened.

Colombia: From the Andes Mountains to the Caribbean coastline and the Amazon Rainforest, Colombia is one of the most ecologically diverse countries in the world. Colombia sits at the crossroads of Central and South America, allowing for a widespread diversity of cultures. Currently, there is a large influx of Venezuelan refugees coming through Colombia, putting a strain on its economic resources. Many in Colombia have been affected by homelessness, drug addiction, or violence from drug trafficking, but God is bringing hope and restoration
